| It's been a rough season for me. Losing Brady started it off on a bad trail. Then Willie Parker went down. Then Willis McGahee went down. Plaxico Burress got himself suspended. Then Anquan Boldin went down.  Yeah, I know, "cry me a river". But it really has been an abnormally nasty run of bad luck this year.  I'm about to fall to 3-5, as the schedule puts me up against the highest scoring team in the league. That will just about end my chances for making the Playoffs, and put me out of my misery.  So goes the unpredictable world of Fantasy Football. But, like all of us, I hope, I'll give it my best for the rest of this lost season, and be back for more next year to feed my addiction!

| A freind of mine in a league 2 years ago was 1-5 and was calling in his lineup to me and said "I am done for this year" I told him not to give up.........and his team became the "hottest" team in the league and did not lose again the rest of the season and he won the championhip. for what its worth: "You tell everyone or anyone that has ever doubted, felt they did not measure up or wanted to quit, you tell them to look up, get up and don't ever give up. | Maybe there's hope for a country saving comeback by John McCain yet! I was amazed at the outcome of my match with the mighty 'NFL Dude' this week. An amazing 30-point performance from WR Anquan "Jaws" Boldin pulled it out for me. Although, in terms of the time frame, I had to sweat out the Steelers-Giants game, to see Mewelde Moore score the points that actually overcame the 2-point deficit I had going into that one. It was certainly an exciting win for me, as I sat, with drooping eyelids, watching that Steelers-Giants game at 4:00 AM, via NFL Game Pass; after having already watched my Patriots squeak by the Rams in the first game. (Being an NFL nut is no easy hobby here in Thailand!) At least I can go into next week's match with Torn ACLs holding some hope for the future. I got past a tough week of BYE's and injuries, and may be competitive after all. I hope so. It's a lot more fun to play this game when you have a shot at the playoffs. But Torn ACLs is going to be very tough this week, despite his losing record. His top RB (Graham) is facing the "What's A Defense" Chiefs; and his top WR (Fitzgerald) is facing the "Please Don't Pass Against Us" Rams. Those two alone could score 60 ponts!!
